How do you register the software? Software keeps on giving an error message when i copied/pasted given license key from the included Readme.txt file. Is it because I install on my windows 10 machine?

I have the previous version of this software and found it can't do anything Calibre can't do and is more difficult to use than Calibre. Just my two cents.
Tried installation on a Win 10 x64 computer several times. Each time the installation screen only showed less than 10% completed and suddenly a webpage appeared telling me that "Ultimate eBook Converter 3.0.6 activated — what next?" But the software is nowhere to be found on my computer. I have installed and used an earlier giveaway version last year without problems.
The developers allow changing the installation path but do not allow changing the folder name from "ultimate". This name is too generic and I would prefer something more specific such as "Epubor Ultimate".
I suspect that no one has been able to successfully install and use today's Giveaway, so far and despite many hours going by with members reporting major problems with today's Giveaway, it's strange that neither GAOTD nor Epubor has not responded or commented on what the issue might be.

File Size: 05.3 MB, Version: v3.0.6, date February 14, 2016!
File Size: 59.6 MB, Version: v3.0.4, date August 8, 2015!
File Size: 62.5 MB, Version: v3.0.4, date February 9, 2015!
The file size for today's Giveaway is 10 times smaller than in past giveaways. So, either this new version has been severely reduced in functionality or the newly 'eBook conversion core' developed by Epubor is incomplete. Or, perhaps this small executable of 5.3MB is only an installer without the product included into it and it (the missing main product) needs to be fetched via the Internet during the installation process.
Either way, it tends to indicate that today's giveaway and/or installation procedure was inadequately tested before releasing it for us to try out.
The program just won't install (win10) It hangs at 6%.That's a first.

It takes hours to install , instalation stops and if you restart it continue the previous installation but aftar 10 restarts it is at 68%. This is a windows10 intel i5 machine
