The last time WinUtilities was given out it was version 6.2 which I reviewed. This is version 6.4 and according to the developer here are the changes:
What's New in WinUtilities 6.4:
1. Improved Uninstall Manager module.
2. Improved One-Click Maintenance module.
3. Added exclusion options for Disk Cleaner module.
4. Fix an issue and removed the 4GB file limitations for File Splitter module.
5. Improved Duplicate Files Finder module.
6. Improved History Cleaner module.
7. Added report exporting feature for Startup Cleaner module.
8. Re-designed launch user interface.
9. Minor bug fixes.
The Good
* Has almost every tool in the book needed to clean/maintain your computer
* Almost no learning curve
* Automatically Creates system backups before doing any changes to registry.
* Has an option to recover deleted files and to 'securely' delete files.

WinUtilties is an excellent program. I have been using it since I got it in October and it has been very reliable. Not to mention the automatic backups of registry and other files gives you peace of mind if anything ever goes wrong. WinUtilities is definitely a keeper - highly recommended. However personally I use Advanced SystemCare (Pro) for the regular maintenance of my computer and then run WinUtilities and TuneUp Utilities 2007 from time to time to supplement my maintenance.

This is a nice little app. Installed and registered no problems on Windows Vista 64-bit OS. I used this for a while the last time it was offered, but have since formatted my drive and reinstalled Windows, so needless to say I lost all of my GAOTD apps, so I am glad this one is reoffered. Yeah I know everyone will say use Advanced System Care and Glary Utilities and they are free, but I think it is a good idea to have a couple of these types of apps. Some have different features that others don't and some are stonger in one area than others and so on. Also Advanced System Care's registry cleaner deletes my touchpad driver when I use it. I know I can add it to the ignore list, but a Synaptics Touchpad should not get deleted. Anyway, I am currently using Glary Utilities and TuneUp Utilities 2009 and now this will be added. Thanks GAOTD team!
Excellent piece of software. In a nutshell, besides the registry tools, this program also offers file shredders, start-up managers, a task manager, deleted file recovery, and shortcut fixer, among others. Definitely a keeper for me, and I would definitely recommend to others. Full review and screen shots below.

Today's free games have been posted over in the games discussion forums. You’ll find a side scrolling platform game called Alien Carnage ( a Halloween Harry title) and a 3D FPS called Chasm: The Rift, which is similar to Hexen,Quake and Doom. Both downloads are small, the graphics are dated, but the game play makes up for that in a big way, especially if you’re into retro games.
