I had Ashampoo burning software on my last computer from an old giveaway here. I seem to recall solid performance and my only complaint was nag screens, which I chose to view as the price of free software.
This software is FUNDAMENTALLY different from previous Ashampoo Burning Studio software. This requires you to install the entire software first; and only then will you be able to ask for the serial key.
Previous versions allow you to get the serial key first.
Another fundamental change is constant checking back with website to regularly re-validate the key. This is nonsense. You do not know what else is sent from your PC to the website. After you have installed this version 2020 software do a check on the registry how many items it wrote to Registry. The number may shock you.
A CD Burning software that can't be used offline. :(
Have always liked Ashampoo software so when I logged into their site to get my license key, I decided to poke around a little in their downloads section. To my amazement, they have a section of FREE DOWNLOAD software which includes several others. Some current, some not so current. Worth a look...here is the link I used for Windows programs:

I have used previous versions of the program and they work just fine. Simple to use and set up. Well recommended.

Giveaway of the day. Hola amigos, me suscribí porque me pareció interesante el poder tener un programa gratuito. He descargado algunos programas. Pero tengo temor de que sea algo de corto tiempo. Me refiero a la LICENCIA con que se ofrece. Al final está escrito: "Este programa tiene un valor de $21.00, pero es gratis para nuestros usuarios por tiempo limitado".Me quieren decir cuál es ese "TIEMPO LIMITADO". Si es como un programa a prueba, no me interesa porque hay que instalar y desinstalar pronto. Tampoco si no se puede actualizar, pues la función del antivirus lo deja inservible. Esto es lo que me ha ocurrido con mi Ashampoo burning, por eso estoy tan interesada en su licencia. En el primer comentario de hoy, se lee: Gracias por la Licencia de por Vida!...¿Es esto cierto? . MUCHAS GRACIAS
