I'll pass on this software. Backup4all Lite is fair piece of software. The reason I say fair, is because there are better utility programs that do the same thing. That said, they also cost more money than 19.95 for Backup4all Lite. Also some advanced features aren't available in Lite version They're only available in Backup4all. I see no problems using Windows backup. You already paid for it when you got your computer. Adding another utility to something that already works well doesn't make sense. Thanks to GOTD and Backup4all

Mind that they will gather info from your PC and you cannot stop this cause the licence will fail after 30 days.

I had this software before, nothing wrong with if you do not mind restoring huge folders back just to find a single file you need, it takes long time to do it.
I prefer uncompressed back-up and not ZIPPED files or folders. Any file or folder sync software does it much faster and I can see the same files and have instant access to the old files in just a simple click.
Just imagine the time it will take for a library of 1000s DVDs compressed and Zipped, you will need long long long time to do it and then the same time to bring it back from compressed or zipped state.

I tried to instal it, darn it! I tried hard, but the activation window is bigger than my laptop screen, and I can't reach the ACTIVATE NOW button, I only get 2: BACK and CANCEL, the ones that should appear at the bottom of the window. What are you designers thinking? I can see the way down buttons but not the most important, normally shown under the COMMENTS box and ABOVE the BACK CANCEL buttons. I know it's my fault, you must be thinking "you should have bought a bigger laptop, poor TOM", but your design is stupid, too.
