When you use any water mark software, where you place the water mark is much more important that what type of water mark you use. If it is put in an upper or lower edge some one can use Inpaint or a similar program to easily remove it. It that does not work they will just crop it off.
To make any water mark successful it must cover crucial areas that would greatly detract from the image if it is compromised. Programs like Inpaint work fine on one color back grounds. They struggle with busy backgrounds and multiple colors. So simply putting on a water mark is not enough. You need to use some thought and put it in the right place.
