I gave this two quick tests. An easy one, first: Moby-Dick (1195K). I tried it against 7Zip, using the maximum compression of both programs. 7Zip got it down to 385K, Bulk to 495K, both very quickly. Then I tried something much more difficult, a 920Mb video file. 7Zip took about six minutes to "compress" it to 895Mb - Bulk crashed immediately. I shall not be keeping BulkZip.

Sadly to say, but it screwed up my customized Start Menu in Windows 10. Don't ask me how or why... just facts.
It was a nightmare to get it running, never mind.... I keep using 7Zip; solid as rock and never let me down, not once.

I couldn't find any (link) proof of "ranks first in multiple benchmarks regarding compression strength and speed". Not even on their homepage. Figure out the rest...

@ Philipp Elhaus
I read your "benchmark", but you fail to give details; all you say is in comparison to the "three best alternatives". That's hardly convincing info. May I ask you here directly which alternative compression tools you have tested?

Looking forward to trying this program, information on their website is really interesting regarding compression methods.
Installed and registered without any problems, opened up to the simplest of interfaces that also contained useful information in the introduction.
Decided to try it on today's download zip file; unfortunately it crashed with an unhandled exception message, tested it on another zip file with exactly the same result.
Decided to test it compressing some files but had problems with the selection process.
AverZip had no problems working on the same files; it also has a much better interface and will remain my preferred compression file program.
