Excellent and very handy tool today if you own a business and are eager to spread the word about it on the streets. Can even handle images adding dozen of special effects on their background (negative, blur, brighten etc...), not to mention that it supports almost any kind of printers out there with tons of business card templates ready to be used.
The only downside I can see is the SIZE of the program (nearly 100 MB), which seems to me too much for a program like this. And I was also wondering how can this GAOTD be used for non commercial purposes (strictly personal usage?? LOL!).
Anyway, for what it does, I give it two THUMBS UP!!

Installed and registered without problems on Win 7 64-bit.
Pretty impressive, the editor is better than expected and offers a lot of functionality (layers, effects, histogram etc). Description doesn't do it justice as besides image formats like JPG and PNG you can also export to PS, EPS and PSD formats. Those really matter for digital printing.
All in all better than some other programs I've seen but then again there's nothing truly unique to set it apart from similar software. As some have mentioned with high quality online services in this area $30 might be overpriced but it is an unlimited lifetime license so imho it's still a good deal.
The images that are built in seem rather ‘soft’… not the sharpness you’d expect from a professional card Afaik all included images are atleast 300 DPI so that should give decent results once printed. Just make sure your own images are atleast 300 DPI or better and you should be fine. Printing a few proofs before bulk printing is always best of course.
Quite useless to me as I'm stuck with the businesscards my employer provides but I'll play around with this nonetheless. Thanks GOTD and MojoSoft, thumbs up.
It would be nice to clear up the matter of businesscards vs. personal use though. What's the deal?
And for those of you complaining about the ~100 MB being too much and that the 'developers should streamline their program', please consider the fact there's ~80 MB of free templates and clipart included. The executable itself is about 3.5 MB, some additional 5 MB of dlls and language files and the rest (~10 MB) are images (textures, brushes etc.) used by the editor. That's not bad for this type of software, I've seen bulkier.
@9 Ed.
Personal use: create cards with your name and hand them out. allowed
Commercial use: create cards for others and sell them. not allowed.
just my 2 cents.
#1 I am not a lawyer, but maybe the interpretation of business use could be that you can't SELL cards made with this software! Also there are a lot of people that have business cards that aren't 'businesses'! Ministers, sports associations, charities etc...
As far as size, this program contains 64mb of templates! If it didn't have such a variety, some of you would be complaining (and remember you are getting this for FREE today!) that there aren't enough templates.
Program interface is excellent and very easy to use, for those of you that haven't even tried it!!
First, this isn't a slim program by any means, it's nearly 96MB.
Second, there must be a hundred or so of these style programs for creating business cards, many of which are often slapped in with other related business oriented offerings.
From an operational standpoint, a functional if not somewhat limited program and although I hate to make direct comparisons, this one reminds me of similar products from a company named Cosmi.
I also have to agree with Jeff -- unless your printer can handle the card-stock necessary to print these you're just spinning wheels here and not many printers will run the thick paper necessary.
Mind you, not a bad program at all and quite capable, but it's in a sea of like minded creations and really just doesn't stand out enough to justify a $30 price tag.
