I wish all GAotD offerings were as easy to install/activate as this one. The developer deserves a lot of good will points for that. Note that de-installation of previous versions is automatically handled by the installer.
I find the GUI slightly more plain than Paragon, but perhaps less cluttered and so easier to find the functions you need in this rather complete "toolbox".
The choice to create either a Linux bootable or WinPE bootable disk seems especially nice.
One thing I don't particularly like is the fact that the "Explore Partition" window is fixed size so you have to scroll horizontally in most situations.
In older versions I thought Paragon had the better product. Now it is much harder to determine which is better. I'm happy I have both. Thanks, GAotD.

The difference between the free version and the paid one is the rescue/live-CD facility which the latter offers. In ordinary use there is no difference.
I have the previous version, 7.1, installed and satisfied. It has a nice GUI and very easy to handle my 500 GB SATA HDD. 2 questions though:
- shall i first uninstall that to install this one?
- In fact, as i don't use this software very often, i'd like to install it to my USB drive. How to install it as portable?

Sorry to be negative, but my experience with several versions of Easeus PM has been that they are not fail-safe. A disk partitioning program manipulates the basic structure of your disk - if something happens you will be unable to read your data. Easeus PM fails easily - whether disk/data errors, power surges, processor glitches or whatever - it does fail and when it fails it fails badly. Paragon for example fails less easily and when it fails it tends to recover better.
If your disk does become corrupted, Easeus is unable to correct it again. Paragon can correct some errors created by Easeus.
I know the interface is very nice - my compliments on the visual design. But this hides a serious underlying processing problem. After several nasty experiences I will not use Easeus PM again.
