This GAOTD is one of the BEST partition disk management utility ever released on the market and unlike previous edition given away here, this version includes Linux based bootable CD/DVD, meaning you can create/resize/merge partitions of your HD even if your WINDOWS machine doesn’t boot in anymore: cool, isn't it??

That being said, it's worth noting that WINDOWS already includes its own partition manager, so in theory, to manage the partitions of your HD, there wouldn’t be any need to download any third-party partition manager software like the one offered here today!!
Don’t believe me?? Just read here:

Enjoy!!

The last giveaway was Easeus Partition Master Pro 9.1.0. This is version 9.1.1. Does anyone have any idea what the differences may be or whether it pays to upgrade for what appears to be such a small revision.
For anyone that does not have Version 9 Pro, I just want to contribute that the program is fantastic and does everything advertised. If you believe you will ever have the need to adjust the size of a partition or delete, create, move or resize a partition, this is the program you want to use!

First I like EaseUs products -- A lot. Never had any problems with the partition master, their recovery, or Todo Backup, all are superb -- UNTIL one day I got a brand new laptop running Windows 7 x64 Home Prem. As usualy when I get a new computer or install a new hard drive I reach for EaseUs and partition the HD the way I like it.
I did this to a new laptop with a 750 GB GPT drive. WHY DID I DO THAT!!! EaseUs as usual was rolling right along rebooted the machine and was proceeding smoothly. When it finally finish it reported a error, and I was NOT ABLE TO BOOT! I tried everything, even Windows Repair disk did no good. I tried reinstalling windows and it did not even see the drive!
Now to be fair, I'm not BLAMING EaseUs Part. Mast., because I've done this with Easeus for many years through many versions and have just purchased (after the disaster even) version offered today 911. I like their products so much that I bought the lifetime upgrade one ($49.95).
Also to be fair, I think the problem was me. I had no experience with the fledgling GPT format and I think that was the problem. I got another drive using GPT and the SAME THING HAPPENED. So I just replaced the HD with the MBR format and no problems. I must have missed something somewhare.
The purpose of this is to warn you guys -- BACK UP THE HD ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PARTITIONING A GPT HD. I googled about this when I was trying to fix mine and was relieved to see that I wasn't the only one having this difficulty, where it was with Easeus or a few other brands, many people ran into the same trouble doing this on GPT drives for what ever reason.
Also note, that your computer must be GUID (GPT) compatible so be sure that if you have the GPT format that every thing is working to gether. They had to jump through some compatibilty hoops (wierd ones) to make the two formats be at peace with one another.
So I will still use Easeus, and eventually try it out on the GPT format again. The main eason for that format is that it can handle more than 2TB drives easily and can handle more that 4 primary partitions.
My mistake was that I had no experience with GPT and I noticed "GPT" as the type of drive when I was partitioning the thing. Having no idea what it was I (stupidly) proceeded any way. (How was I to know). I've done this so many times I boldly partitioned the thing WITHOUT BACKING IT UP, after all it was still in its bare bones stage (no software installed yet by me).
So my warning to everyone is whether MBR or especially GPT BACKUP THE THING -- even though EaseUS is a GREAT product as is Paragon which I also like a lot. Back it up folks to save yourself this misery.
Thanks GOTD for it -- it's literally a steal at $19.95, and since it free -- Get it.

The only difference I see between this version and the previous is that it supports Windows 8.
