Well, this is one of those programs where you start out all "OMG, this is gonna be a great program!" but when you try it out, it isn't all that great.
First of all, even though it isn't that important, when you download the program, it'll say an update is available. You don't need to download this update, all it does is it changes the version from 1.01 to 1.02. Seriously. The release notes say "just a test update that changes a version number to 1.02."
Second, [Here's what really dissapointed me], to use the shortcuts, you have to have the Flow application active. The only shortcut that works in the backround is Alt+Q to bring up the Flow application. And that dissapoints me because, isn't it kinda silly to press Alt+Q to bring up a window, then your key combo for the program you wanted to open? Seeing that they could program Alt+Q to bring a window up without needing anything else open, they could've programmed your key combos so they'd work while Flow was working in the backround.
But, there is something a little weird that is going on with Flow. When I use Flow to launch my application instead of the key shortcut I programmed into a shortcut, it takes a significantly shorter amount of time to open when opened with Flow. So I'll try out Flow for a little longer, and I'll vote thumbs-up or thumbs-down later.

72% Against in the first 10 minutes. Whew! Not sure how they came to this conclusion except they don't want, which is not a reason to vote in my estimation.
This looks an interesting concept, and somewhat different to most shortcut solutions. My only reservation is how much I would be likely to use it. My days of keyboard shortcuts is mainly gone, except select all, copy, cut & paste. With desktop shortcuts, start menu, plus all the other taskbar menus, this seems to be a solution to a non-existent problem.
My only possible reason for something like this would be as a launcher for often used folders & files. I hate seeing desktops with "shortcut to this or that folder" all over the place. I tend to use Explorer but might welcome a shortcut method.
I'll wait for some other verdicts.

I hope some one else gets in first.
When i saw this i decided to pass, just another useless piece of clutter, a nice toy that probably I would tire of, but, well, it is a slow day so i thought I would try.

Download of the ZIP file as quick, within 2 minutes, but during the first demote at install my machine froze.
Second time installation was quick and easy, as was the usual registration. Comes in 3 languages which is going to annoy some people I know.

But then, after reading the 4 step tutorial, a problem, or so I am told: "Flow has encountered a problem."
"There was an unexpected error in flow, this may be due to a programming bug"
Really!
Hmmm, I would have hoped you guys had spent a bit more time checking.
OK, so closed and relaunched the app again, same error message.
I am running Win 2003 server, enterprise, a high spec'd system.
Anyone else had this problem?
Any suggestions form VitesseDigital in the Virgin Islands?

I like good and quick application launchers and I'm always looking to find a better one than the one I currently use.
I like the idea of an OSD keyboard, but...
1) although I use an AZERTY layouted keyboard, Flow shows a QWERTY keyboard
2) I was disappointed to see that Flow can't detect the icon inside of the EXE's of my favourite programs. I don't like those fancy, but unknown icons that are inside Flow's galleries.
3) You can define multiple layouts, but I can't find how to switch from one layout to another.
4) You can't specify parameters for an application to launch (eg. start up maximized)

First impression: Good idea, but the program comes way too early on the market. It needs some more development before it could become really useful in my daily computer life.

FYI...

It seems this company is very serious about developming a robust solution that people like and want. The are looking very closely at GAOD comments and actually posting your recommendations and comments into their suppport system to work on. That is impressive, and smart.

Wish other companies would do that.
