Downloaded and installed: I wanted to see if it could recover files from my recycle bin after trashing it with Ccleaner’s “Gutmann (35 passes) option.
The program only seems to offer one setting: Recover from C: drive but I have no idea if it works or not because every time I run it it just crashes and I have to shut it down with my task manager.
This would be a lot more helpful if it:
a) allowed me choose a location to recover files from (i.e. my recycle bin)
b)didn’t crash every time I use it
So this is definitely not a keeper for me – Piriforms free “Recuva” software is probably a better option.

Not much of a review I'll grant you that the best I could find.
For such a highly priced program it seems to have very few options, so I'll pass.

Files that are overwritten are not recoverable!
I just installed this in WinXP. It does not work. The program opens, I choose the F drive, no files are offered for recovery (empty listing). Nothing to do.
I cannot even go back to choose another drive, the only choice is exit and start again.

I like that the program is so easy to use, perhaps I need almost a few options, like recover images or docs (word, pdf, etc.).
It seems that the program see the MFT table and show the deleted files, but also shows the non-deleted files that can be a little confusing, just because it don't distinguish between them (with a different color, an icon or something like that).
But after all it's a very fast program to recover accidentally erased files, in my case a hdd(220GB) was scanned in less than a minute.
