WebInPaint is a web application that allows user to remove objects from photos online.However, if you can’t afford the likes of Photoshop or Snagit, then Webinpaint is something you should try. It can help you quickly remove things that are undesirable in an image.
The Good
* Straightforward and easy to use.
* Has an undo/redo feature.
* Supports all four major image formats: .JPG/JPEG, .PNG, .BMP, and .GIF.
* Processes images quickly fairly quickly.
* Supports drag + drop.
The Bad
* Users can no longer easily multi-process the same area selection. (Easy multi-processing of the same area was available in previous versions.)
* Undo/redo functions are not properly programmed for undoing/redoing area selection - they only work with undoing/redoing image processing.

As a current InPaint 2.4 user (downloaded/installed from GOTD, 2010 July 12, last year) I agree 100% with Ashraf, and I am SO HAPPY that during the install process I modified...
- Select Destination Location
- Start Menu folder
- Create Destop Icon
...to AVOID eliminating my existing InPaint 2.4 GOTD version.
If you are an InPaint 2.4 GOTD version user and want to avoid eliminating your existing InPaint 2.4 GOTD version, you might consider the changes I made during my InPaint 3.0 installation, including:
- Select Destination Location
C:\Program Files\Inpaint3.0 (do not use default location)
- Start Menu folder
InPaint3.0 (do not use default shortcut folder)
- Create Destop Icon
checked and Renameed . . . InPaint 3.0 (eliminates confusion with my existing InPaint 2.4 icon)

Hope this helps others keep your InPaint 2.4 GOTD version as it did for me.
Cheers!

I fully agree with SpodoCommodo (post #3). If the new way of painting the area may be efficient in some situations, the two old methods (rectangle and polygon) were IMO much better in many cases. I hope the next version will combine the methods of Inpaint v2.4 and v3.0.
BTW, I have managed to keep both versions. You can simply copy the old inpaint.exe and inpaint.chm files in another folder, before overwriting them with the new version. The registration for inpaint 3.0 seems to work fine with v2.4 (but the opposite is not true).
There was a bug in v2.4: when a very small area (a few pixels) was selected, running the process crashed the program. This bug seems to be fixed now. Good work!
@ #2 and #6: I'm also running Win7 x64 and I have no problem to load or save the images.
Dear users,
for unlucky ones who have problems while working with InPaint, please feel free to download updated version from GOTD. Some bugs are fixed. :)
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
GOTD team
Excellent for removing unwanted areas in pics.
However, I did like the simplicity of being able to define a bounding rectangle or polygon in the previous version giveaway, rather then having to paint over the whole area that you want fixed in this new version - can't see any reason why that couldn't have been left in. And it would be nice to be able to see the size of the paintbrush relative to the picture before using it (I do realise that one can undo a change).
Es el PEOR programa que existe, no se como tiene tantos votos positivos.
