I have been using a version of LeaderTask from October, 2014, and I have recommended it to many people, because it focuses on task management with calendaring capability included (as opposed to most software of this type, which focuses on calendaring, with task management included as an aside). I have used the major players in this software category, and for me (may not be the same for you), this is a superior software.
I emphasize how much I like it, so that you will understand why I am NOT downloading this new version - there is simply no logical reason for a software customer to have to buy this software on an annual basis, other than revenue production for the developer. While revenue production is certainly important to the developer, and I understand that some software needs constant development (e.g., antivirus) and justifies an annual fee, from a user (purchaser) standpoint, a calendar/task management software simply does not.
it installs the executable into My Documents? What kind of software does that? Aside from that, there is the little fact that it crashes every time it is started, so it is not usable at all. Software should better designed and tested than this.
Definitely a planner I would consider, but the renewal price p.a. is just too horrific for my purse.
Thanks Giveaway team, but as these tools rarely ever offer decent export formats the thought of losing a year's input is just too scary. Otherwise certainly one of the better offers in recent times.
Says expired and when I install it over a previous giveaway, the only one that ever worked lifetime it says incorrect login password.
I installed version 8 with a lifetime license key and it works 99% fine, it loses the odd reminder, but apart from that is fine.
The new g.u.i is poor.
Options where are they?
I would never buy this software as it's not very attractive.
To answer about leadertask.
When I installed it over version 8 it said password is incorrect even though it is right in the final update of version 8, 8.5.4.
The g.u.i. is awful too.

I have downloaded and I am impressed.
But it may be I am doing something wrong or the free (paid giveaway) does not include the GTD, Pomodoro, etc add ons.. so 100% of the tools are not available. anyway, will evaluate it and provide a more complete feedback in some weeks.
The videos to start are in Russian (may be a link failure), and the auto translation in you tube is a bit .. funny, but you can understand most of it.
I would maybe pay for the software as a package if it had all the goodies, or at least you would provide a decent trial before purchase.(of each one of the Add ons offered).
In general, pricing may be a bit steep as there are plenty free choices where premium fees are not so cumbersome.
I would suggest you: 1 Provide a complete free total tools trial at lest. 2. Be more explicit on the pricing for the add ons.. 3 Careful with translations (i can help). 3. You could do a small business, family, students or non profit groups fee bracket and another for larger companies. 4 You Could also open a BETA for people willing to use it for free in exchange of feedback, translation, user ideas.. etc.
