I tried this software and the first thing I noticed was that it installed "Glarysoft Software Update Pro" Trial version alongside this software without asking me if I wanted it or not, and there was not an option to NOT install it when installing.

So I removed that first thing. Main reason I wanted to give this software a try was because I thought it might be a good second opinion Virus scanner. I didn't want to use the real time protection, I wanted to use it as an on demand scanner only. But much to my surprise there is no option to turn off real time protection inside the software.

I thought I would try a quick scan and the first thing it asked me was if I wanted to use the Avira scan engine and it said it would produce better scan results if I did. I didn't like that at all because I look at it like this : "Since they consider the Avira scan engine to be so good then wouldn't it make more sense for me to just use Avira?".

Don't get me wrong, the reason I am commenting here is because first I think others would be interested in more information concerning the software, and secondly because I would hope that the software creators would be interested as to what users think about it. I'm not commenting to trash talk the software at all, just giving my opinion.

Basically it's system cleaner + antivirus.
I don't know why Virus Scan, and Automatic updates are key features here, even primitive antiviruses have been doing this for many years, and virus scan is the first thing antivirus software were doing.

Firstly I managed to download, install and register without any problem. I already have Malwarebytes on my PC and had run a full scan a few days ago during which it detected a number of potentially unwanted programs, a few relatively harmless but annoying Trojans and other malware which it had put in to quarantine. To test today's offering I restored all the quarantined files and turned off Malwarebites and scanned my PC with Malware Hunter (full scan) and the results were a little disappointing. Of the known 65 malwares on my machine Malware Hunter found only 3 and produced 5 false positives, not at all what I expected. Uninstalled and turned on Malwarebytes again and re-scanned my machine and successfully removed all 65 malwares.
