The Good
* Has registry management (scan, repair, defrag, backup).
* You can undo the 'repair' or 'fixes' you make.
* Ability to apply tweaks to Windows.
* Has preemptive protection against malicious ActiveX malware.
* There is a startup program manager.
* Fairly small footprint in terms of system resource usage.
* Has 1-click registry optimization.
The Bad
* Registry backup files are not self-executing (you must have the program to restore your registry).
* Annoying bubble popup every time I minimize program window.
* You can't turn off Quick Start.
* I would prefer a formal automatic registry backup before making registry repairs rather than the existing selective repair undo feature.

Since I've often stated that optimizers, cleaners, etc., are junk and dangerous, I skipped that stuff but did look at the startup manager. The UI is terrible, it's necessary to click an unrelated button to get to it. As expected, very few startup items were listed. The database was a joke, with almost no entries being in it, and some ridiculously wrong (the Vista Sidebar was classified as malware). The definitive startup manager remains Microsoft Sysinternals AutoRuns, which is constantly being updated. It lets you look up any entry online. AnVir will check new startup items against its database, and will also lookup stuff online. So who doesn't have ActiveX protection? IE 0.1 users? I haven't used a version of IE which didn't block ActiveX in years.
upon installation the program tries to install another program. watch carefully and make sure you untick the box if you don't want it.
Also tries to put bookmarks in yr system.

Just take note that video is of an older version of Premium Booster. Seems like a very old version because it does not show the "Scheduler".

If I may be so bold, I think what you are referring to is Software Informer/GOTD's wrapper and not Premium Booster because I did not notice Premium Booster's install anything but Premium Booster.
I downloaded this when offered previously. It worked well, and provided a noticeable improvement in performance. HOWEVER - one day it prompted me to update, which I did - and I lost my license. Ended up reverting to trial. So---when it asks if you want to install updates, think twice.
