It looks interesting, but I don't understand its usefulness yet. I have Microsoft Project and I understand that is very complicated and have not found a way to make use of it. I am going to check this out and report back later if it is interesting or not.

Tester, RationalPlan is less complicated compared to MS Project but this kind of products are not quite for the "day by day" use. It is more like for serious stuff when you need to plan your work in advance, see how much it will cost, what you will need. Some examples: redecorating your home, building your house, planning your 10 day trip...

Downloaded and installed easily on Windows 10 64 bit.
Appears to be a very useful programme. I don't need all the bells, whistle and complications (and expense) of Project so this looks like it will fill my needs nicely. I have been using Trello, which is good for multi-user inputs but overkill for personal/solo use.
I like the basic interface, I can understand it and work with it. I'm already putting a couple of simple projects that I am working on into it and am liking it more as I use it.

this does check for updates by default, we are not normally entitled to free updates under standard GAOTD terms so you need to go to Settings menu and select Options , then select the General tab and find Check for updates and make sure it is deselected before dismissing the window with OK button.

I wonder if it's feasible to use with GetTheThingsDone routines. If anyone has experience with GTD and can comment on this piece of software, it would help me a lot, and perhaps some other people.

Rafal, I guess you could try to use it for GTD but it is not the best option. GTD is a methodology to increase the day by day personal productivity while RationalPlan is much more than that. The easiest way it to install it and try it. After all it is free just today :)
