Programs the same. Please continue use VSM since if you switch to
Start Menu 7 your lost all settings since registry path and file path
is diffident in both program.
So exists only 2 reason to switch to Start Menu 7
You don't like name - Vista Start Menu

You has new clear system without VSM
The Start Menu 7 clone was created to attract more people since the
word - Vista not so popular as before. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I purchased VistaStart Menu along time ago, this is the same program just rebranded. I eventually discarded it due to the fact that when opened it took up too much of my screen property, mind you it can be resized but then you just have to scroll (left to right) more to get through the program menus. Another note: you can not have the transparency effect like you see in the screen-shot on Windows XP
With all that said I can attest that it is a pretty nifty start menu replacement if you do not mind the above. It is a well rounded program that always worked flawlessly for me when I ran it and updates were always provided on a timely fashion whenever user problems arose. And the forum was always helpful the times I went there for help.
Just not my cup of tea; but definitely worth a try :)

Classic Shell does not work with XP or older MS OS. Today's giveaway does.

Usually I'm wary of these kind of programs, I've had my desktop messed one too many times. Against my better judgment decided to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. I'll give it a try for a few days before I make up my mind whether to keep it, but for those who like customising the desktop and start menu I'd recommend it. It appears safe and stable on WinXP SP3.
@17 - Ken - The giveaway doesn't include support or updates/upgrades. The webpage that appears at the end of the setup is simply offering you a discount from the normal full price, should you wish to purchase a license with updates and support included.
The giveaway software is still the full version. If you aren't interested in purchasing a support/update license then just close that web page, and enjoy your Giveaway software (a registered pro license)
