A recommendation for all, who don't like the windows start menu in version 7&8.

I had installed the previous version Start Menu X Pro 5.46 from June 19, 2015:

It worked without problems. With Win 10 Pro I have everything, which fits my needs. But I don't have to organize 47 video converters and 187 games, which I have played the last time in 2011. For those, who want to group their collection of undeleters and recovery tools, this may be a good choice.

AS I can't see what's PRO about this offering I am going to stick with Classic Start from Classic Shell which is free and I have been using with W7 and now W10. Classic Start is everything the Windows Start button should be. Perhaps MS should buy Classic Shell and implement their product instead of their own ill thought out offering.

Keeping it stock here with default Windows 10 Start Menu. Having Windows 10 for a while now, Start Menu 10 Pro is no improvement to the Windows Start Menu in terms of simplicity and eye candy. In fact, Start Menu 10 Pro is annoyingly bloated. Also, I can't stand any resize handles or "I re-organize your life" add-ons, showing twice the same thing in different places in case you like my version better.

The name has mistype. Actually this is not Start Menu X program. This is Start Menu 10 program that has OTHER layout (not tabs, but has recent programs icons and recent documents list) site is www.startmenu10.com

The name is allright, X is 10 in Roman numbers, as always. MacOS X means MacOS 10, and is the last one, just like Windows 10 will be the last ever numbered version, to make both equal in the end.

I did, and what a mistake. The Startmenu X was indeed very useable. This version can't compete with the build in Startmenu, which is highly customable. If I ever consider to use an alternative, I will use the "old version" of Startmenu X. Btw, remark, it use about 25 MB memory just to run - and so did the other versions as well. However, the previous version gave a better overview of your installations.
