Tried the program on XP sp3 and found it better and easier to use than others I have tried in the past.
Incidentally, today is the 32nd birthday of the GIF, which was first released on 15th June 1987. It is worth noting that it's an 8 bit, 256 colour format (nomal then) which works best with diagrams, animations and the like with sharp edges and flat expanses of colour: it has its uses, but the results will not be too subtle!

It installed easily and the provided ID and Registration Code worked fine.
Once the app opened up I selected a video of 120 seconds in MP4 and it started playing. I hit the Start button at a frame I liked and soon, after about 40 frames I hit the End button. It asked me where and under what name to Save and Bingo! I had my 5 seconds GIF of beautiful opening colorful flowers.
Good application, and most important, to me, very intuitive.
Thank you Thundersoft and the GAOTD people!

A decent little app that seems to do exactly what it sets out to, and the results look good enough to me.
Pros:
You can specify the exact start and end frames easily.
You can crop the video down to a specific area, which I wasn't expecting.
You can reverse and bounce/pingpong the result.
Conversion, even on a low-end laptop, was fast.
Cons:
Text placement and font size/style could be better, requiring x and y coordinates be entered rather than a more intuitive drag into place method. Maybe something for a future update?
