I find it strange that this company is claiming that USB flash drives are a new attack vector and without their USB Antivirus product eveyone is unprotected... USB flash drives are not a mysterioius new piece of hardware that uses a non-standard file access method not already covered by any anti-virus/anti-malware realtime on-open or on-directory scan malware scanner. I saw USB flash drive infections years ago and when putting the freshly infected USB drive into another system with AVG Free 7 on it, since the infection used removable device autorun feature AVG FREE spotted it and stopped it cold, no big melodrama AND THAT WAS YEARS AGO WITH A FREE AVG PRODUCT.

Hello, I am from ArzooSoft Solutions I will like to point out basic points that the above users have missed.

USB Threat Defender is an USB-Anti-Virus solution which uses proactive technology with definition based scan to provide maximum security against USB threats.

Read here:

1. It is not a replacement of your regular system Anti-Virus, it goes hand in hand with your system Anti-Virus without any conflicts(tested with 40 Anti-Viruses), there are many threats that spread via USB Devices and are not detected by regular Anti-Virus tools. If your Anti-Virus was 100% perfect, then why do you often get infected with these USB menaces.

2. It is not an Autorun.inf removers like other USB Anti-Viruses(they are just autorun.inf removers and claim to be real Anti-Viruses), it has its own detection engine. I has behavior based scan to detect unknown malwares.

3. It has the ability to remove already installed USB malwares from your system which non of the other Anti-Viruses can detect. And the other USB removal tools are only active when you are not infected, they fail on an infected system. They are just preventors. USB threat Defender not only prevents but also removes existing threats.

4. When you are infected by a malware, regular removal tools just remove the malware but they donot cure your system of damages done, USB Threat Defenders System heal actually heals your system.

5. Realtime Resident Shield, this shield constantly monitors your system for USB devices, the moment you input a USB device, it is scanned for immediate infections, and you will get a popup regarding it.

6. Its proactive technology is very strong, hence it does not require regular updates as hundreds of new USB malwares are released each day, it easily detects them before they can do damage. This unique feature also makes it a must have for all offline systems(no internet)

7. One time license. You just have to purchase the product once, all future upgrades and updates will be FREE of charge.

USB Threat Defender has been well accepted by single users, educational departments and companies. And it has a bright future ahead of it.

USB Threat Defender will now have a better detection engine along with Anti-malware in future. And this will make this excellent product even better. We would be very happy if you can give some feedback to add in the new version at:

This is all you need to know about USB infections:

Here are some questions.

1. Why does the USB threats page of the company cited above not list any actual threats? It talks in generalities without giving any real details. For example, what is the difference between a USB virus and "regular viruses"? Aren't they the same with just a different launch vector? Or how does a USB virus that has already infected your system (that this program claims it can heal) differ from a downloaded virus that has infected your system?

2. Why does the company publish a checklist of features against two unnamed programs again with no specifics? I'm quite ready to believe that one company's scanning engine can catch different malware than another's, but I won't trust a company that doesn't cite specific malware it caught that other specific products missed.

3. Why does a company have to resort to scare tactics, like "most dreaded viruses", "USB menaces" and "SOME REALITIES YOU MUST FACE - THE TRUTH"?

4. Why does the company's About page say "ArzooSoft Solutions has also won many prestigious awards for its products" without actually naming any awards or having an Awards page? Yes, the Home page does show three awards badges, one from Softpedia that basically just says the software doesn't contain malware (whoopie!) and two badges from sites I've never heard of -- and none of the badges actually link to reviews on those sites.

5. Why can't a company hire a proofreader to correct blatant grammatical and spelling flaws? Would you trust a company whose professional Web site doesn't look better written than your typical spam E-mail?

6. Does a company representative who says "Instead of just commenting on your general knowledge, it would be excellent if you could try the product, I am sure the rest of the world who have evaluated and bought this product are not duffers," sound like they're trying to get you to blindly install a product? Shouldn't their Web site give you enough details to evaluate whether or not the product is useful? And how should we try the product? Unless we already have a virus that this happens to detect, should we put one on a USB device and try to launch it? Please.

These are just some questions to consider before trusting a company.

Hello !

I have uninstalled the tool !

The simple reason is the following:
