Vole also means winning of all the tricks, or flying high! I like this software, especially now with all the NSA monitoring of online content.

This looks really interesting,
but whenever I see the one year license I am instantly put off, Especially when I go to see how much it would be to buy the full License and find the Cheapest one they have is $80.00
$80.00 REALLY???
Thank you but I'll pass on this one 8=)

Nice software...does what it claims very well...but only 1 year license and 80 $ per year?
Dude, this is not a site overcrowded by super professional people (journalists, for instance) hired by big Corporations, thus willing to pay such a steep fee...LOL!
So I'm afraid you missed your target here, since most of GAOTD visitors are just home users (students, workers, pensioners etc...) who cannot afford to pay big bucks for a product like this.
And besides that...
Come on... EVERNOTE is FREE and does much more things than this GAOTD (OCR for instance): is the developer of this GAOTD aware of that? It looks like he's not!

But to add PDFs, images, audio and video files, snapshots of web pages, and pretty much anything else in a single and searchable interface, you can also use the excellent freeware ZOTERO without paying a dime:
http://www.zotero.org
Or just use the FREE & PORTABLE version of this GAOTD (go to its home page to download it).
Finally, to organize your notes with interactive and planned text outlines, linking any piece of information together into a more organized hierarchical tree-based structure (great way to keep track of your notes, or to prepare speeches and presentations), just use this pretty unknown but extremely powerfu FREE GEM, kissing (once again) your wallet goodbye:

Giovanni's final verdict: Thumbs UP to the software but 2 THUMBS DOWN to its policy price.

This isn't software, it's an "annual-subscription service"!:-(
I love the idea of viewing docs/video in the top frame and being able to write below, and I suspect it would actually speed me up a bit, but there is no way I will pay $80/year for this. That sort of cash would enable me to buy 2 decent quality monitors and use my existing software.
If I subscribed to this, plus MS Office and a couple of others, I would be paying a substantial amount annually forever, just to write docs and view PDFs and videos. Pass.

I've checked the calendar, and it's not April Fool's Day. I've checked the developer's website, and it's not a misprint on GOTD. They actually are charging $80 for a year's license for this.
Another thing I found on the website is the version history of the program since the initial release (3.7.30912) on 12 September this year. The current version (3.10.31218) is the tenth one. So many updates in such a short space of time suggests to me that this is not what might be called a 'mature' product, and that the customers might end up doing the developers' Beta testing and bug reporting. And why was the initial version 3.7? Call me old-fashioned, but don't you usually start at 1.0? Unless, of course, you want the customer to think that the program is more mature than it really is.
