Downloaded OK. Unzipped files. Clicked on setup.exe but produced windows error (exact error not given) except ByteScout Watermarking Pro (FULL) has stopped working. Program then terminates when clicking OK. Not impressed. What use is a giveaway if it will not install. This is on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Comments and correct installation file required from software producers.

Had a look at the programs homepage as well as read the description above but still non the wiser on what "you get automated GIF and TIFF support " means? It can't be boasting about a lack of manual controls to choose what method of generation of the 256 colour palette is... as it's a watermarking program not an image converter so should not be generating a new colour palette and who would boast it had LESS than optimal features!
What would be impressive is if it losslessly coppied across JPEG data from areas of the picture that were unmodified and only recompresses the watermarked JPEG cells to reduce the overall image quality loss due to JPEG recompression but I see no trace of that in the descriptions.
