Utter rubbish! Took 3 attempts at trying to register before it worked. When you click on the downloading symbol to check on progress the sound cuts out. And then when downloading is complete the finished video has no sound. I'm sure there are better downloaders out there. Don't waste your time with this one.
#2, Roger, in the first place, YouTube Music Downloader can also convert, not just download. Second, your script doesn't work because someplace along the way some characters got converted. Third, you should just link the original source, Download YouTube Videos as MP4 Files, which contains a useable link as well as lots of additional information. Fourth, it won't work with newer versions of IE using default security settings. To work around, you have to add YouTube to the Trusted Sites list with no higher than Medium security (or use Custom level to allow the downloads), and "Require server verification" must be unchecked when you add it (you can re-check it afterwards).
Update to my previous comment (in moderation) about the JavaScript bookmark and IE7+, it's partly the security level and partly Protected Mode (Vista and higher with UAC) which blocks the download, you have to leave Protected Mode off for Trusted Sites, which decreases security.

Que tal amigos, este programita me gustó por su sencillez y a pesar de todo lo recomiendo. Un punto debil: las descargas de audio MP3 me salen en mono. Que será, una limitación impuesta o mi falta de experiencia?

Arturo, si es verdad, pero tienes que tomar en cuanta que muchos vótan antes de bajar el paquete, o por otro lado la utilidad es muy simple y por lo tanto no les sirve.
